MOUNTAIN BIKE

In the Lotzorai area you can try your hand at numerous MOUNTAIN BIKE trails

Lotzorai, with its landscape stretching from the sea to the foothills, offers a long and varied selection of trails suitable for all levels of cyclists. The rivers that flow into the sea, bordering and containing the area to the south and north, offer the opportunity for riverside walks suitable for everyone and ideal for those who enjoy cycling with their families, perhaps exploring the riverbanks to observe the numerous species of birdlife present in the area.

Kilometers of dirt roads reserved for bicycles and pedestrians are used primarily to reach the white beaches that characterize our coast. Moving inland from the coast, we find a series of dirt roads that can be easily navigated with any mountain bike and, importantly, with the rare possibility of encountering cars. With the help of a few maps, or a few tips from the many local enthusiasts, you can take circular routes of varying difficulty and mileage.

MTB for EVERYONE

For those who enjoy a more linear and uneventful ride, paved roads offer very interesting circular itineraries. Even for road cyclists, there are a wide variety of options to suit every need. Being able to pedal on roads with little traffic is rewarding in itself, but riding on roads that cut through nature will give you an even more intense sense of freedom.

Lotzorai also offers bike rentals for all tastes, as well as a bike repair shop to address any issues with your own bike; this is important for those who use their bike heavily and want it to always be in perfect working order.

For those who love strong emotions

For the more physically fit, the routes leading west are ideal, where you’ll find steep, climbing roads. But cycling immersed in the sometimes wild nature is truly rewarding for those who love these excursions, and we’re sure it will be an unforgettable experience. For those who enjoy challenging hikes, in just over 30 km, you can reach altitudes ranging from sea level to 1,000 meters. Steep climbs and descents require great caution. If you don’t want to stray too far and enjoy extreme trails, we recommend the trail that winds through our forest: “Su Padentinu.”

Here, immersed in a beautiful wooded area, we find areas set up with stone tables and benches for those who want to stop for a bite to eat and enjoy the cool air. Be very careful, however, as the descent is for experienced bikers and therefore requires good protective gear.
